‘Seeds’ Showcases the beautiful cultures that make up my United States. In the color Palette, Gold represents the individual human souls and spirits, while the Plums, Browns, and Charcoals represent the bruises and systematic ways that White-America, as we know it, has tried to ‘bury’ our different cultures in order to assimilate to their America. “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. . . “ The Statue of Liberty inscription states as she invites all of the different cultures and communities we possess. ‘Seeds’ hopes to show the beauty evoked by the unity of our differences, with each look dedicated to a specific culture, community, or progressive social issue that help shape and advance our country to evolve.
